I am an Accredited Mental Health Social Worker, dedicated to supporting people in their wellbeing journeys. I understand the importance of meeting people where they are in their experiences; walking alongside them as they navigate challenges and rediscover themselves.
I have education and experience in supporting the mental health of persons across the lifespan and have practiced in clinical and senior leadership roles in public mental health contexts since 2018. I hold specialised training, experience, and particular interest in child and adolescent mental health and forensic mental health fields of practice.
Outside of my professional life, I find joy in the company of dogs and have a deep appreciation for colour and clashing patterns, which reflect my vibrant approach to life and therapy.
Having extensive experience in mental health practice and endorsement as an Accredited Mental Health Social Worker, I am trained in structured and semi-structured therapeutic interventions, with my primary therapeutic approaches including:

Unconditional positive regard. This concept stems from humanistic psychology and the work of Carl Rogers. It refers to accepting and valuing a person without judgment or conditions, regardless of their actions, thoughts, or feelings. I abide by this therapeutic approach in my practice, aiming to create a safe, supportive environment where individuals feel free to express themselves without fear of criticism, fostering self-growth and self-acceptance.
Difference. I understand that no person’s individual experience is the same as another’s; recognising each person’s thoughts, behaviours, and emotions are influenced by their unique life journey. I value your lived experience, personal history, diversity and relationships, and I value the opportunity to explore this with you.
Passing judgement or making false promises. I respect your unique lived experiences and cannot offer swift solutions to emotional pain. I know healing takes time and effort, and my role is to support you in your journey of regaining autonomy, self-understanding, and growth. Therapy is a collaborative process driven by your voice and goals.
